The Inspiration

With Angels’ Share, Kilian Hennessy introduces a new olfactive family, The Liquors, paying tribute to his heritage as heir to the prestigious Hennessy cognac dynasty. This creation reflects his fascination with the artistry of cognac-making and the intoxicating elegance that carries celebrations from dusk until dawn.

Created in collaboration with French perfumer Benoist Lapouza, Angels’ Share is one of Kilian’s most personal fragrances. It draws inspiration from his eighth-generation inheritance of Hennessy savoir-faire and the mystical expression “la part des anges” — the “angels’ share” — referring to the portion of cognac that evaporates during aging in oak barrels.

 

The Fragrance

Like a Master Blender perfecting a rare cognac, this composition balances warmth, depth and indulgence with precision.

The scent opens with rich Cognac essence, immediately warm and enveloping. A heart of Oak Absolute and Cinnamon Essence adds spicy depth, while Tonka Bean Absolute enhances the gourmand richness. As it settles, smooth Sandalwood, Praline and Vanilla create a lingering, addictive trail — decadent, sensual and beautifully refined.

The liquid’s natural caramel hue echoes its cognac inspiration, enhancing the luxurious experience from first glance to final dry-down.
